What is Industrial Paint

Industrial Paint Air-cured Styrene-modified alkyd based, very fast surface drying, glossy top coat paint.

It is a coating material that protects the surface from the mechanical and chemical effects by adhering to the applied surface and gives an aesthetic appearance to the applied surface.

What is Industrial Paint

The dyeing process is not a process completed by the application of the paint to the surface of the material, but is a long process consisting of steps with different procedures. The application area created by all steps creates ı painting systems. We have explained a different opening of Industrial Painting with many fields.

If we continue:

Paints consist of a mixture of components (adhesive, color pigment and additives) diluted with a solvent (water or solvent). The solvent is removed from the application surface during drying to obtain the dyed surface. Adhesives to paint; It provides cracking resistance, stickiness and strength properties and it is generally transparent. Industrial Paint systems, powder coating applications and fluid dye applications can be grouped into two main groups. Fluid paint applications are based on single or dual component water or solvent.

Industrial Painting Application Stages

Paint systems consist of three basic application stages. These; surface preparation process, painting process and drying process.

Surface preparation process: The application varies depending on the type of material. What is industrial painting: sanding process for steel, bushing for aluminum, and flame burning process for plastics are applied as a pre-treatment in surface preparation. Thus, the surface to be painted is cleaned from dust and unwanted wastes and is free from oil, grease and moisture.

Dyeing Process : Paint application techniques can be examined under four main topics :

a) Brush Painting Method: The oldest and easiest painting method. It is applied manually and depends entirely on the operator's ability.

b) Immersion Method: The part to be painted is dipped continuously into a tank which is continuously circulated, after it has been removed, it is kept waiting for a while and the paint accumulated on the product is infiltrated into the tank.

c) Curtain Method: It is usually used for painting flat surfaces. Paints the piece passing under the paint flowing in the form of a curtain.

d) Spraying Method: Spraying applications; air, airless and electrostatic.
